Nate Dalton

Friends and future teammates Willie Sykes and Nate Dalton started off Recruiting Thursday by talking about signing with the Razorbacks.

Sykes, 6-0, 189 pounds, 4.46 seconds in the 40-yard dash,, of Spring, Texas, signed with Arkansas after flipping his commitment from Nebraska. The safety also had offers from Washington State, Utah, Minnesota, Oregon State.

Dalton, 6-3, 195, 4.50 of Houston Cypress Falls chose the Hogs over Michigan, Oklahoma, Kentucky and others. He played quarterback until being moved to cornerback as a senior.

Both said their relationship with Arkansas defensive backs coach Clay Jennings made a big impact on their decisions.

Running back Rawleigh Williams III, 5-10, 198 pounds, 4.51 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Dallas Bishop Lynch had about 20 family members at his signing ceremony. He reflected on becoming a Razorback and the loss of running backs coach Joel Thomas to the New Orleans Saints.

Athlete La'Michael Pettway, 6-3, 200, 4.47 of Nashville said he plans to work on his flexibility before reporting to Arkansas this summer. He could play safety or receiver as a Hog.
