Hogs offer Hammonds

Arkansas has offered a scholarship to Pulaski Robinson junior athlete T.J. Hammonds. He becomes the fourth in-state prospect in the 2016 class to receive an offer from the Hogs. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Junior stats:

58 carries 852 yards, 7 TDs, 41 receptions 1172 yards 11 TDs

4 punt returns for 122 yards 3 kickoff returns for 98 yads,

19 solo tackles 1 FF, 1 FR, and a blocked FG.

Hammonds said he was asleep when Pulaski Robinson assistant Brian Maupin called him to tell him to call tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr.. He called Lunney and talked to Coach Bret Bielema about the offer.

He plans to visit the Hogs March 7 and is looking forward to seeing more of the campus.

Hammonds said he;s not sure when he'll make a decision. He wants to make sure of his decision before making a commitment.

He said Lunney has been very honest during the recruiting process. He said not all coaches are like that.

He also has offers from Vanderbilt, Tulsa, La. Tech and Marshall.
