Former Little Rock Parkview shooting guard Daryl Macon, 6-3, 185, of Holmes (Miss.) Community College has committed to Arkansas.
He averaged 23 points this past season and earned first-team Junior College All-American honors as a freshman while shooting 46.5 percent from the field and 36.9 percent from beyond the three-point line. He played spring and summer basketball for the Arkansas Hawks.
Macon also had scholarship offers from Alabama, Ole Miss, Louisville, Kansas State and Memphis.
He becomes the Hogs' first commitment for the 2016 class.
