McLeod and Morris are having banner seasons in their respective events, and are among the favorites to win individual NCAA championships next weekend at Randal Tyson Track Center. Both have already won SEC championships indoors.

McLeod has the nation's best 60 hurdles time this season of 7.49 seconds. The sophomore is the defending NCAA champion in the event.

Morris, a senior, briefly held the NCAA record in the pole vault earlier this season. She has the second-best vault this year (15-3 1/2) and has four of the top 10 marks ever indoors, including the best all-time at a non-altitude location.

The Bowerman Trophy debuted in 2009 to award the nation's best all-around male and female athlete for the indoor and outdoor seasons. It is presented by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association at its annual convention in December.
