Agim and Bielema hit it off during visit

Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema and Hope junior defensive end McTelvin Agim continued to build on their relationship during Agim’s latest visit on Saturday.

“He just let me know he wanted me here,” Agim said. “He wanted me to enjoy the time I was there. Just normal coach B. He was still cool.”

Agim, 6-3, 265, 4.59 seconds in the 40-yard dash, is one of the best prospects in the nation at his position and has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Stanford, Clemson, Oklahoma and others to prove it. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Bielema joked about Agim’s ever changing body that's packed on about 20 pounds since last year.

“He tried to talk about me a little bit,” Agim said. “He tried to talk about my clothes like my pants. He said he could see that I’m working because my body is growing and my pants get smaller. He was trying to play with me.”

Sebastian Tretola, Jared Cornelius, Dan Skipper, Hunter Henry, Jonathan Williams and other players took questions from Agim and seven other recruits.

“Someone asked the biggest transaction from high school to college and they were like time management,” Agim said.

The current Razorbacks also encouraged the prospects to embrace their senior year.

“They were like enjoy it more,” Agim said. “They said they enjoy Fayetteville, but some people are like ‘an I’m ready to get to college. They said just enjoy being a kid and living with your parents.”

Agim is rated a 4-star plus prospect by national recruiting analyst Tom Lemming of CBS Sports Network. He has recorded a 345 pound bench press, 335 power clean, 315 incline and 530 squat.

The Hogs are high on Agim’s list.

“I’m high on Arkansas right now,” he said. “I’m liking the area and the fans, the coaches. Everything. I’m just liking Fayetteville.
