Arkansas is showing interest in a Memphis guard and the interest in mutual.

Guard LaGerald Vick said he has interest in Arkansas, but is uncertain of a visit at this time.

Vick, 6-5, 175 pounds of Memphis Douglass was committed to SMU for the 2016 class, but that changed on Sunday when he reopened his recruiting. He was planning to attend prep school and sign as a member of the 2016 class. He's now apparently thinking of becoming a 2015 recruit.

Future150.com rates him the No. 29 shooting guard and the No. 83 overall prospect in the nation for the 2015 class.

Arkansas offensive cooridnator Dan Enos visited Canton, (Mich.) High School on Monday to check on linebacker Jalen Cochran and apparently came away impressed.

Cochran, 6-4, 230, 4.79 said Enos told his coach he liked what he saw during a school workout and defensive cooridnator Robb Smith will be back at the school May 20 to evaluate more. He has eight offers from schools like Iowa, Central Michigan, Toledo and others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Highly recruited Michael Williams, 6-2 1/2, 300, 4.95 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Fort Worth, (Texas) All Saints Episcopal said he expects Arkansas running backs coach Jemal Singleton to visit his school the week. He reports about 50 offers, including Arkansas. Video highlights CLICK HERE

He and sophomore linebacker Baron Browning, who has a scholarship offer from the Hogs, are good friends.

Blytheville sophomore running back DeMekko Clark finished second in the 100 meters with a time of 10.778 last week at the Class 5A East district meet. Arkansas tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. is expected to visit the school this week. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Sophomore linebacker Hunter Davenport, 6-1, 240 of Lamar will attend camps at Arkansas, Oklahoma and UCA. He has also received an invited to Elite camps at Mississippi State, Tennessee and Duke. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Defensive back Chris Kershner, 5-8 1/2, 164 of Dardanelle ran 10.87 seconds in the 100 meters in the recent Class 4A district meet. He has offers from Army and Navy while Air Force is showing interest.Video highlights CLICK HERE

Boise State and Navy visited Little Rock Christian on Monday. Navy extended an offer to running back Damarea Crockett.

Ole Miss has extended an offer to Arkansas recover commitment Jordan Jones of Smackover. The Rebels visited his school this morning.
