Oxford police tweet: Don't call 911 about Arkansas QB

Oxford Police Department tweet during Saturday's game.

Even the Oxford, Miss. Police Department took note of Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen's career day.

The agency, which serves the city that houses Ole Miss, tweeted during the Arkansas-Ole Miss game, that "[a]sking us to kick the Arkansas QB out of the stadium is not a legit reason to dial 911."

The tweet, presumably in jest, had more than 5,300 retweets and 3,200 likes less than an hour after it was posted during the second half of Saturday's game.

It came on a day when Allen threw for six touchdowns 442 yards, leading the Razorbacks to a 53-52 overtime win.
