Hogs making inroads with elite prospect

Arkansas defensive backs coach Clay Jennings directs his players during practice Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the UA practice field in Fayetteville.

Arkansas' success on the field is helping with the recruiting efforts of an elite prospect.

Sam Spiegelman of SEC Country in Partnership with the Atlanta Journal-Consitution reports the Hogs are gaining ground with highly regarded cornerback Kristian Fulton.

Fulton, 5-11, 167 pounds, of Metairie, (La.) Rummel is teammates with Hog defensive line commitment Briston Guidry and knows former Rummel and current Arkansas cornerback Henre’ Toliver and linebacker Dwayne Eugene.

ESPN rates Fulton the No. 3 cornerback and No. 35 overall prospect in the nation. CLICK HERE
