ARLINGTON, Texas -- Arkansas freshman tailback Rawleigh Williams III scored his first college touchdown back home Saturday night.

Williams, who played at Dallas Bishop High School, scored on a 3-yard run against Texas A&M in AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. He lives about a 30-minute drive from the stadium.

Williams said this week he had attended some high school games at AT&T Stadium, but Saturday night was the first time he played a game there.

First sack

Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen was sacked for the first time this season when Aggies defensive lineman Zaycoven Henderson dropped him for a 4-yard loss in the second quarter. It was the Aggies' 16th sack of the season.

For starters

Arkansas safety Santos Ramirez, a redshirt freshman from Shreveport, made his first career start in place of sophomore Josh Liddell.

Sophomore defensive end Tevin Beanum started in place of junior JaMichael Winston. It was Beanum's second start. He started the opener, then was replaced by junior Jeremiah Ledbetter.

Razorbacks sophomore wide receiver Kendrick Edwards had his first career start.

Arkansas' coaches had planned to redshirt Edwards and he spent the first two weeks on the scout-team offense, but he has played in the past two games because of injuries that have depleted the receivers.

Thinking of J-Will

Arkansas junior tight end Hunter Henry, who normally wears No. 84, wore No. 32 Saturday night to honor teammate Jonathan Willliams.

Williams, a senior tailback, is out for at least all of the regular season because of a foot injury he sustained during a scrimmage in August. He still was elected a team captain.

Henry was with Arkansas' other captains -- Brandon Allen, Brooks Ellis and JaMichael Winston -- for the pregame coin toss.

Williams had taken place in the previous three pregame coin tosses, using crutches to get on the field.

Hot start

Brandon Allen completed his first 13 passes for 111 yards before his 14th pass was intercepted by Aggies safety Donovan Wilson on a fourth-and-7 play from the Texas A&M 35 with 7:36 left in the second quarter.

Walker out

Arkansas junior running back Kody Walker missed his second consecutive game because of an injured left wrist. Walker was hurt against Toledo.

First catches

Sophomore receivers Duwop Mitchell and Dominique Reed each made his first career catch for Arkansas.

Mitchell's catch in third quarter went for a 5-yard gain. Reed's catch in the first quarter gained 1 yard, but in the second quarter he he gained 8 yards on his second catch.

Making amends

Texas A&M freshman receiver Christian Kirk made a boneheaded play when he touched a kickoff at the Aggies' 3 before the ball went out of bounds.

A personal foul penalty on Texas A&M after the kickoff moved the ball back to the Aggies' 2.

Kirk made up for his mistake by catching a 44-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Allen to cap the drive.

Flag bearers

Junior defensive tackle Taiwan Johnson carried the United States flag and junior wide receiver Drew Morgan carried the Arkansas flag when the Razorbacks ran onto the field before the game.

Jerry's boy

An Arkansas fan shown on the giant video board at AT&T Stadium wore a red T-shirt with "Jerry Jones is my homeboy" written on it. Jones, the former Razorback offensive lineman, is the Dallas Cowboys' owner.

Not a sellout

Attendance for Saturday night's game was announced at 67,339.

It was the second-smallest crowd for the five times Arkansas and Texas A&M have met at AT&T Stadium, which has a capacity of 80,000.

The largest crowd was the teams' first meeting in Arlington, when 71,872 attended the 2009 game. The smallest crowd was 65,622 in 2010.

Other attendances have been 69,836 in 2011 and 68,113 last season.

Quick change

With the Dallas Cowboys playing the Atlanta Falcons at noon today, workers began changing the field immediately after the game, replacing the Arkansas and Texas A&M end zones and SEC and Southwest Classic logos.

Texas drought

Texas A&M faced a former Southwest Conference rival Arkansas, but for the first time since the Aggies started playing football in 1894 they are not playing a team from the state of Texas.
