Auburn snaps 7-game skid with win over Arkansas

— Auburn guard Bryce Brown hit nine 3-pointers to lead the Tigers to a 90-86 win over Arkansas on Wednesday at Bud Walton Arena.

Brown scored a career-high 27 points to help Auburn snap a seven-game losing streak. The Tigers snapped an eight-game losing streak to the Razorbacks.

Led by Brown, Auburn made 15 of 23 attempts from 3-point range and 61 percent of its field goal attempts.

The Tigers (10-15, 4-9 SEC) took the lead for good on a 3-pointer by TJ Lang with 2:33 remaining.

Lang hit another three on Auburn's next possession and Brown hit a three to push Auburn's lead to 86-81 with 1:16 remaining.

Arkansas had a chance to tie the game late, but Anton Beard's 3-point attempt rimmed-out with 25 seconds remaining.

The Razorbacks (12-14, 5-8) led by nine points midway through the second half, but Auburn used an 8-2 run to get back into the game.

Arkansas made just 10 of 29 field goal attempts after halftime when the game was tied 46-46.

Anthlon Bell led the Razorbacks with 21 points and Moses Kingsley added 20 points and 10 rebounds. Dusty Hannahs scored 18 points off the bench.

Tyler Harris scored 19 points and Lang added 17 points for the Tigers. Cinmeon Bowers scored 14 points and had 10 assists.

Auburn won at Bud Walton Arena for the first time since 2009.

Arkansas is scheduled to host Missouri on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
