— Little Rock Parkview junior forward Ethan Henderson and several of his Arkansas Hawks AAU teammates got a chance to look over the Razorback program again on Monday.

Henderson (6-8, 190), who has offers from Arkansas, Arizona State, LSU, Notre Dame and Texas, has not tried to hide his affinity for the Razorbacks.

“I always have a great time visiting with the Arkansas coaches and players and we got to see them practice, not really a full practice, but some work they were doing,” Henderson said. “I really like what Arkansas has to offer.”

Henderson is coming off a trip to the NBPA Top 100 Camp, which also was attended by fellow Arkansas standouts in Razorback commit Daniel Gafford (6-11, 233) and Connor Vanover (7-3, 215).

“That was a great experience,” Henderson said of the camp in Charlottesville, Va. “I got a chance to go up against the top players in the country, a lot of older guys and I know that helped me get better.

“I got a chance to be coached by some current and former NBA guys, guys that have been where I want to go and that’s the NBA.”

Henderson visited Arkansas along with three other Hawks’ 2018 prospects in Tallahassee, Fla., McClay forward Reginald Perry (6-9, 225), Jonesboro guard Desi Sills (6-0, 160) and Fort Smith Northside guard Isaiah Joe (6-2).

That quartet has been part of a Hawks’ 16-and-under AAU squad that has flourished this summer and has qualified to play in the Adidas Gauntlet Finale July 6-10 in Spartanburg, S.C.

“We have played really well together so far and we are just trying to keep it going,” Henderson said. “It’s fun playing with these guys and they all have a lot of talent.”
