The former Arkansas star is no stranger to three-homer games. He is the last player to have such a game for the Razorbacks, hitting three against Grambling State in the 2010 Fayetteville Regional.
Two of Eibner's home runs Thursday came in the same inning, as he hit a pair of two-run shots as part of a 10-run fifth inning for the Storm Chasers. He also had a two-run homer in the third inning that broke a 1-1 tie.
Eibner finished the game 3-for-5 with six RBIs. The performance raised his batting average to .318 on the season and nearly doubled his home run total, from four to seven.
During his five-plus years in the minors, Eibner has had five two-home run games, but this was his first with three.
