FAYETTEVILLE — No. 3 Florida edged Arkansas 197.125-195.200 on Friday night at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville.
The Gators (6-1, 4-1 SEC), who have won 14 consecutive meets against Arkansas, were led by Alex McCurty, who scored a 9.975 on the uneven bars. Alicia Brown took the all-around title with a 39.500.
Arkansas (2-5, 2-4) was led by Jessica Yamzon, who had 39.300 in the all-around, including a career best of 9.875 on the floor exercise.
Samantha Nelson had a team-best 9.900 on the floor exercise while Sydney McGlone had a 9.875.
Braie Speed had a team-best 9.850 on the vault and matched her season best of 9.825 on the uneven bars. Hailey Garner had a 9.850 on the uneven bars. Yamzon had a 9.850 on the balance beam. Arkansas’ Michaela Burton had a 9.850 on the balance beam.
