— Arkansas picked up a commitment Friday from an in-state outfielder.

Cabot's Clayton Gray (5-10, 155 pounds) committed to the Razorbacks' class of 2020. He is believed to be the second commitment in the class. Bowie, Texas, right-handed pitcher Heston Tole (6-5, 180) committed last year.

As a freshman, Gray batted .273 with a home run and 24 RBI for the Panthers. He played in all 32 games and, alongside Arkansas outfield signee Evan Hooper, helped Cabot win the Class 7A state championship.

PrepBaseballReport.com rates Gray the sixth-best prospect in the state for his class. Verbal commitments are non-binding.
