2 UA women recognized by SEC

Arkansas’ Alana Uriell was named second-team All-SEC and Summar Roachell was selected for the conference’s community service team, the league office announced Thursday.

Uriell, a junior from Carlsbad, Calif., won her first individual title at the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational in San Antonio this season and leads the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville with a 72.04 stroke average.

Roachell, a senior from Conway, was named to the SEC Community Service team for the third consecutive season.

The No. 13 Razorbacks will make their 16th NCAA regional appearance starting Monday at the Columbus (Ohio) Regional hosted by Ohio State.
