Offers motivate Camden Fairview lineman

2019 offensive lineman Stacey Willkins.

Camden Fairview junior offensive lineman Stacey Wilkins recently added a scholarship offer from Memphis to his growing list of offers.

“It’s fun knowing people are watching me,” Wilkins said “It’s good to know that.”

Wilkins, 6-7, 270 pounds, also has offers from Arkansas State, Texas State, Louisiana-Monroe and Louisiana Tech while drawing interest from Arkansas, TCU and Tulane.

“It’s making me work harder because the teams that haven’t offered me yet are motivating me to do more and work harder every day and become better,” Wilkins said.

He has visited Louisiana Tech and Louisiana-Monroe and has plans to attend Arkansas’ game against Mississippi State on Nov. 18.

Wilkins started 10 games at right tackle as a sophomore and graded out at 83 percent while having 37 pancake blocks and 53 knockdowns.

He’s cousins with former Razorback All-American offensive lineman Shawn Andrews and former Ole Miss offensive lineman Stacy Andrews.

“I kind of looked up to them when I was little, and then when I was growing up, and I was moved to offense tackle when I was moved up to varsity, I realized I could make a lot of money at my position one day,” said Wilkins, who’s hoping for an Arkansas offer.
