Hogs offer Warren junior DT

Warren Coach Bo Hembree says expectations are high after the Lumberjacks’ fourth state title.

Arkansas has extended an offer to Warren junior defensive tackle Marcus Miller, the seventh in-state prospect to receive an offer from the Hogs in the 2019 class.

Miller, 6-4, 290 pounds, recorded 78 tackles, 8 sacks, 12 quarterback hurries, 6 pass breakups and an interception this past season.

"He has a great motor for a guy his size," Warren Coach Bo Hembree said. "He plays center on our basketball team, and he's a really good athlete for his size. He can do a lot of different things, and he's also a really good offensive lineman. We don't play him much on the offensive side of the ball; we play him some at tight end. He's just an explosive athlete."

Numerous other schools are also interested in Miller after visiting the school to check on highly recruited receiver Treylon Burks.

"Everybody that has come in for Treylon wants him," Hembree said. "Everybody that has been on campus has seen him."
