Arkansas women down Auburn on road

The Arkansas women's basketball team snapped a three-game Southeastern Conference losing streak on Sunday.

Arkansas made 9 of 20 first half 3-pointers and cruised to a 68-58 win over Auburn in Auburn Arena.

Kiara Williams led the Razorbacks (11-7, 2-3 SEC) with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Jailyn Mason also poured in 15 points on three 3-pointers and finished with a team-high five assists. Malica Monk and Bailey Zimmerman reached double figures as well, adding 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Arkansas led 41-17 at the half behind its nine 3-pointers and a strong second quarter defensively in which it held Auburn to seven points on 2 of 11 shooting. Auburn's Janiah McKay led all scorers with 26 points.

Mike Neighbors' club returns to play Thursday against Florida in Bud Walton Arena. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
