NOTABLE This will be the first time Texas has played at Baum Stadium. The Longhorns’ last games at Arkansas were played in 1991 at the old George Cole Field….Arkansas and Texas have played five times since the Southwest Conference disbanded, with the Longhorns winning three of five games. The teams played in the NCAA Tournament at least once each year between 2003-05, including at the 2004 College World Series - a 13-2 Texas win….The Longhorns are one of three former SWC teams who will come to Baum Stadium this year. Arkansas will host Texas Tech for two games in April and Texas A&M for three games in May….Texas was ranked No. 20 last week but lost three of four games to then-No. 5 Stanford at home….Arkansas and Texas have agreed to play again in March 2019 at Disch-Falk Field in Austin, Texas. Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn said earlier this year that the programs are in talks to extend their series through 2021.
