— Arkansas has set its special event dates for the 2019 football season.

Notably, the Razorbacks will play Mississippi State for their Homecoming game on Nov. 2. It will be the first time Arkansas has played a conference opponent on Homecoming since 2016, when the Razorbacks defeated Ole Miss.

Mississippi State has won six of its past seven games with Arkansas, including 52-6 last season in Starkville, Miss.

Arkansas announced it will recognize its 2019 hall of honor inductees during the Sept. 14 game against Colorado State. Family Weekend will coincide with the Sept. 21 game against San Jose State.

The Razorbacks, who finished 2-10 overall and 0-8 in SEC play last season, are scheduled to play seven home games in 2019, beginning with Portland State in the season opener on Aug. 31. Arkansas also is scheduled to play Auburn and Western Kentucky in Fayetteville, and Missouri in Little Rock in the regular-season finale.
