Sunday recruiting tidbits

Bentonville tight end Jack Kraus, 6-5, 240, 4.9 said he will likely visit Arkansas on Tuesday with his parents and meet with Coach Bret Bielema and offensive coordinator Jim Chaney. Still no plans to make a quick decision but hopes to have it done before the start of his season. He was offered by Arkansas in January to go along with Illinois and Utah State.

Running back Shai McKenzie, 6-0, 212, 4.42 of Washington, Pa. has 22 offers including Arkansas. He has been in communication with running backs coach Joel Thomas. He's very excited to have an offer from a SEC school and plans to take a look Arkansas. All schools are equal with him right now. He said he's looking for a school that's honest with him and wants him. He was laser timed at 10.83 for the 100, 22.4 in the 200 and threw the shot put 47 feet as a soph. Has a 3.6 GPA.

Defensive lineman Chuks Ota, 6-2, 290, 5.15 of Jonesboro plans to visit Arkansas on Saturday. He hopes to visit Auburn next month.

Offensive lineman Jhamahl Bell. 6-3 1/2, 290 of Warren said he talked to Arkansas offensive line coach Sam Pittman on Friday and was told how impressed Pittman was with his video and looked forward to building a relationship with him. He said he talked to tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. on Saturday and has been in cotact with him by private messages on Twitter. He plans to visit the Hogs March 9.

He said he if he was offered by Arkansas he probably would commit because the Razorbacks have been his dream school since a kid. He said Lunney said the Hogs see him as a center or guard.

Bell said he has about a 3.0 GPA and plans to major in computer science and wants to work for Apple one day.

Offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn. 6-2 1/2, 272, 5.3 of St. Petersburg, Fla. talked to Arkansas offensive line coach Sam Pittman on Thursday and was told his video showed good athleticism and aggressiveness. He reports 11 offers, including Florida State, Missouri, West Virgina and others. He hopes to visit Arkansas in the summer.

Springdale running back Deandre Murray, 5-11, 172, 4.34 seconds in the 40 yard dash, will visit Arkansas this upcoming weekend. Auburn has invited Murray for a visit.

Springdale tight end Josiah Wymer, 6-4, 262 will visit Arkansas March 9.

Ft. Smith Southside quarterback Isaac Jackson, 6-3, 215, 4.6 seconds on the 40 yard dash, said he had a great visit with LSU Coach Les Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron last weekend. He has been invited to the Nike camps in Memphis and Dallas. He's also receiving interest from Arkansas, Arkansas State and Oklahoma State.

Linebacker Bryson Allen-Williams, 6-2 1/2, 225, 4.7 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Ellenwood, (Ga.) Cedar Grove plans to visit the Hogs on Easter weekend with his aunt, who graduated from Arkansas. He has more than 20 offers, including Arkansas, South Carolina, Clemson and Alabama. Cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson is his lead recruiter.

Arkansas commitment and running back Juan Day, 6-2, 210, 4.5 seconds in the 40 yard dash, will visit Arkansas this upcoming weekend. He rushed 115 times for 930 yards and 13 touchdowns in nine games this season.

Linebacker Richard Yeargin of Ft. Lauderdale, (Fla.) University tweeted Arkansas offered him today.
