Dre Greenlaw highlights vs. Springdale

FILE PHOTO MICHAEL WOODS Fayetteville senior Dre Greenlaw had a knack for big plays last season with the Bulldogs, scoring touchdowns on defense, kick returns and punt returns. Greenlaw is back to lead the secondary this season and will also play more offense for the Purple’Dogs as well.

Fayetteville safety-linebacker Dre Greenlaw, who received an offer from Arkansas on Thursday, helped lead the Bulldogs to a 49-21 victory over Springdale.

He recorded 8 tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass breakup. He had an 82 yard punt return for a score called back because of a penalty.

Greenlaw, 6-1, 216, 4.53 is committed to Arkansas State and is expected to make a final decision at anytime. Arkansas defensive coordinator Robb Smith watched Greenlaw when Fayetteville played Fort Smith Southside.

He recorded 93 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions and a pass breakup as a junior.

Greenlaw also has offers from Washington State, Arkansas State, Memphis and Southern Miss.
