UA women move up 2 spots in AP poll

Arkansas’ women’s basketball team moved up two spots in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll.

The Razorbacks came in at No. 15 on Monday after winning their only game last week. Arkansas (11-4, 2-3 SEC) held off Florida for an 84-80 win in Bud Walton Arena on Thursday.

Chelsea Dungee scored 33 points and Destiny Slocum added 17 in the game.

Other SEC teams in the AP Top 25 are South Carolina (4), Texas A&M (8), Kentucky (12), Mississippi State (19), Georgia (22) and Tennessee (25).
