Gowen walks the first two batters he faces and then Opitz lays down a perfect bunt on the third base line. Bases are loaded for Battles.
Battles pops up to third for the infield fly and the first out.
Nesbit pops up to short right field, nobody is able to tag and there are now two outs.
A ball gets by the catcher on a wild pitch, Franklin tries to come from third, but he's thrown out as the ball didn't kick away as far it looked like it would.

Georgia gets two hits in the inning, but a baserunning mistake gives Arkansas a free out. After the leadoff batter grounded out to third, the next batter Rogers singled, but he was picked off first base after taking a big secondary lead on a ball in the dirt.
The next batter gets a single then Kopps walks the next batter. Kopps gets a strikeout to end the inning. Opitz is fired up and the Hogs still lead 1-0.

Arkansas goes in order again as Goodheart strikes out, Wallace flies out and Slavens grounds out.

Wicklanders gets a strikeout to bring his total to nine.
Moore fields a grounder and throws out the next batter. Connor Tate gets a double down the left field line on a looping breaking ball.
Wicklander's day is done and Caden Monke is in to pitch.

Monke gets Collins to strikeout swinging on a 3-2 pitch and the Hogs get out of the inning.

Sullivan strikes out the side, bringing his total to 10 strikeouts. Reminder this is Sullivan's first start of his Georgia career.
And in case you were wondering he struck out the side on nine pitches. That's an immaculate inning against the No. 1 team in the country.

For the fourth straight inning, Georgia gets the leadoff batter on with a single. And for the fourth straight time Wicklander will not allow a run as he sets down the next three batters, getting two strikeouts and a flyout.

Arkansas goes quickly in the 4th. Franklin grounded out, Moore popped out foul to third and Opitz struck out.

Georgia leads off the inning with back-to-back singles off of Wicklander.
Wicklander gets the next batter to strikeout, gets a groundout and then a flyout to end the inning.

Gregory leads off the inning with a four-pitch walk. Goodheart flies out to center and Wallace reaches on a fielder's choice after Georgia goes to second to get the lead runner on a ground ball to first.

Franklin strikes out swinging and that is four outs on four strikeouts for the first time starter Sullivan.
Moore doubles down the left field line. Opitz follows and does the same thing, trading places with Moore and giving the Razorbacks the lead 1-0.

Connor Tate gets a single to left to start the inning, but he's picked off at first trying to steal. He was going on first move and Wicklander picked him off.
The next two batters groundout to Moore and fly out to Wallace in right to end the inning.

Arkansas gets a two-out single from Wallace, but that's it as Sullivan strikes out the other three batters in the inning.

Patrick Wicklander is locked in for the Razorbacks in the first inning. He strikes out two batters, running his fastball up to 95 mph according to the broadcast. The other out came via a groundout to Moore.

Rain has moved into the area and a tarp has been placed on the Baum-Walker field. With less than 30 minutes until game time, it does not appear that this game will start on time. Nothing official has been said yet though.
Arkansas has not lost a weekend series this season. The Razorbacks are 10-0 in weekend series, including 7-0 in series against SEC teams.
Georgia has won a series over a No. 1-ranked team on the road this season. The Bulldogs won two of three games at Vanderbilt in April.
Georgia fell out of the Top 25 of the USA Today Baseball Coaches Poll this week following two home losses to Auburn.
Georgia starting pitcher Liam Sullivan will be making his first career start Friday night. Sullivan is a freshman.
The Razorbacks enter the weekend with a one-game lead in the overall SEC race. Arkansas is also one game ahead of Mississippi State in the SEC West race.
