An abundance of Hog prospects participating in Nike Camp

Highly regarded safety Jamal Adams is looking to visit the Hogs this summer.

— Coverage of Sunday's Nike Camp will start at 10 a.m. Arkansas recruits planning to compete are running back Juan Day, safety Jamal Adams, defensive end Daniel Wise, younger brother of Hog defensive end Deatrich Wise, linebacker Christian Sam and running back Daniel Gresham. Also competing will be cornerback Kavin Alexander, defensive end Solomon Thomas, receiver K.J. Hill, receiver K.D. Cannon, running back Vic Enwere and receiver Malachi Dupree.

North Little Rock CB Kavin Alexander has been selected to participate in The Opening at Nike headquarters this summer after recording the 2nd highest SPARQ rating ever on Saturday at the Nike Combine. He recorded a 148.17 on Saturday after posting a 129.24 year earlier.

North Little Rock RB Juan Day recorded a 126.60 SPARQ rating today at the Nike Camp. He posted a rating of 107.55 on Saturday. He improved his pro-shuttle time from 4.53 to a 4.00 and power ball toss from 43 feet to 45.

Former Bryant RB Madre London, who now plays in Florida, was named the RB MVP of the Nike Camp.

DE Solomon Thomas of Coppell, Texas was selected the D-line MVP of the camp. He also received an invite to The Opening. After the camp, he said he's really considering Arkansas after visiting recently. He said before his visit he didn't have much interest but after meeting the coaching staff and seeing the facilities that has all changed.

Thomas, who has 36 scholarship offers, loved the beauty of the Arkansas campus. He's very close to his sister, who attends Arkansas. He said he hopes to narrow his list to five before the season and then take his officials.

S Jamal Adams of Hebron HS in Carrollton said still hopes to visit Arkansas in the future. He was teammates with Hog DE Deatrich Wise. he was invited to The Opening.

In my opinion, Springdale RB-Ath Deandre Murray matched the athletic ability of the top RBs at the camp. He performed very well in 1-on-1's.

More on Solomon Thomas. He said he might come up and see his sister and attend Arkansas' spring game on April 20. He recorded a 30.5 vertical at today's camp.

DE Daniel Wise of Carrollton, Texas Hebron ran a 4.52 shuttle and had a 28.9 vertical. He has offers from Kansas and SMU.

Fabian Lewis of North Little Rock posted the nation's best shuttle time with a 3.87 during Saturday's SPARQ combine.

RB Sione Palelei of Gonzales, La. plans to visit Arkansas for the spring game. The Hogs recently offered him.

Arkansas is one of 15 offers for RB Royce Freeman of Imperial, California. He said he's interested in the Hogs and is in steady contact with RB coach Joel Thomas.

CB Raymond Wingo of St. Louis University HS ran a 10.64 laser time in the 100 meters on Saturday. The meet was the second meet for Wingo this track season. The 10.64 tied a meet record.

He has numerous offers, including Arkansas, who was the first school to offer.

G Jamal Jones of Lee College will arrive in Fayetteville on Thursday to start his official visit. The Hogs offered him a couple weeks ago.
