Tuesday recruiting tidbits

Linebacker Kendrick Jackson, an Arizona commitment, is trying to visit Arkansas for the Georgia game Oct. 18 in Little Rock.

Jackson, 6-0, 237, 4.8 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Haynesville High School has more than 10 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Arizona, Louisville, Tulsa, Hawaii, Arkansas State, Southern Miss and Idaho. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Haynesville is a town of about 2,300 near the Arkansas border. He said he's going to talk to the Hogs about taking an official visit after the season.

Georgia offensive line commitment Pat Allen, 6-5, 280, 5.0 of Reisterstown, (Md.) Franklin said today he's unsure if he'll take his five official visits after pledging to the Bulldogs Monday evening. He had planned to visit Arkansas along with Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Georgia.

Running back Karan Higdon, 5-9, 190, 4.46 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Sarasota, (Fla.) Riverview said he'll probably be setting up an official visit to Arkansas. He intended to visit the Hogs this summer.

He's committed to South Florida and has scholarship offers from Arkansas, South Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wake Forest and others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Arkansas offensive line commitment Zach Rogers of Carrollton, (Texas) Hebron said the signing of his athletic financial aid agreement with Arkansas should happen at 5 pm Thursday. He said his knee is doing well and the some of the extra sorness is starting to go away after a work out.

Junior offensive lineman Jake Heinrich, 6-4, 285 of Urbandale, Ia. said he's communicating with Arkansas offensive line graduate assitant Eric Mateos. He has an offer from Iowa State.

He said he's researched Arkansas' facilities and atmosphere and believes the Razorbacks are back on the rise. He hopes to see the campus and facilities in person at some point. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Conway kicker Matthew Cummins committed to Central Arkansas last Thursday. He attended camps at Tulsa, A-State, Memphis, UCA, Missouri and Harding.

4:02 update

Forward Juwan Morgan of Waynesville, Mo. said on Twitter he plans to take official visits to Creighton, Indiana, Vanderbilt and Washington. He'll announce a fifth visit between Kansas, Missouri or Stanford.

Dumas tight end Will Gragg said he plans to sign athletic financial aid agreements with Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, Ole Miss, LSU and Louisville but hasn't set a date to do so.

7:41 update

Dallas South Oak Cliff defensive back Jamile Johnson listed Arkansas as one of the schools he's choosing from on Sept. 1. He also listed North Carolina, Texas Tech, TCU, Nebraska and a mystery school. He has not visited the Hogs and doesn't plan to before his announcement.
