Thursday recruiting tidbits

Running back and linebacker Tim Cook, 6-1, 234, 4.44 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Arizona Eastern College said today's visit to Arkansas went well. He was very impressed with the facilities after taking tour.

He sat down and talked with tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. and was asked numerous questions. The Hogs want him to come back before he leaves on Saturday and talk to running backs coach Joel Thomas.

Cook has more than 10 scholarship offers from schools like Louisville, Wisconsin, California, Arizona and others. He said the Razorbacks are recruiting him as an athlete.

Cornerback Jarek Taylor of Madison, (Ala.) Jones said he plans to attend an Arkansas camp this summer. He has seven offers, including California, Southern Miss and Memphis. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Offensive lineman Darryl Williams, 6-4, 307 of Bessemer City high school in Alabama said he plans to visit Arkansas this summer. He has numerous offers, including Auburn, Florida State, Louisville and Mississippi State. Defensive line coach Rory Segrest is his lead recruiter. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Sophomore defensive end Amani Bledoe, 6-5, 265 of Lawrence, Kansas plans to attend an Arkansas camp in June. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Sophomore quarterback Jake Rieves, 6-3, 205 of DeWitt plans to attend Arkansas' June 19th Elite Camp. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Defensive lineman Tyrell Jacobs,6-4, 260, 4.90 of Metairie, (La.) Rummel said a visit to Arkansas is in the planning stages. He has numerous offers from schools like Mississippi State, Arizona State, California and others. He was teammates with Hog freshmen Henre' Toliver and Dwayne Eugene.
