Standouts of the camp and other tidbits.

2018 forward DeShang Weaver, 6-7, 188.8 pounds of Houston Cypress Falls had interest from Houston and Texas before attending today's camp. He was one of the more athletic and productive players. He's very aggressive to the basket and has a nice shooting touch around the paint.

His mother Angela Williams ran the 100 meters, 200 and a leg of the 4x100 relay for Trinidad in the 1984 and 1988 Olympics. She and former Razorback great Mike Conley know one another.

2017 guard Darius Hall, 6-5, 180 of Little Rock Mills was my MVP of the camp. He shot the ball well, showed great body control while driving the lane and also played very tough defense. He played for Team Penny this summer and is now just getting on the radar of schools.

2017 point guard Elijah Landrum, 6-1, 170 of Tulsa Central is one to keep an eye on. He's a very quick distributor of the ball.

2018 power forward Daniel Gafford, 6-10, 217 of El Dorado was one of the more talked about prospects at the camp. The recent offer from the Hogs is still sinking in with him and his family. He said his mother is a huge Razorback fan and was extremely happy about the offer.

2016 point guard Austin Reaves, 6-5, 170 of Cedar Ridge showed he could play his position well. He's a very confident player that can shoot the ball well along with setting up his teammates. Utah State recently offered to go along with one from UCA. Gonzaga and several others are interested.

2016 shooting guard Jamaal Clifton of Searcy was one of the better all around guards. Very nice shot.

2018 forward-center Connor Vanover,7-3, 210 continued to show progress in his game along with adding more bulk to his frame. He has added 30 pounds since last year's camp. His length shortens the passing lanes. It's just not the norm to have a 7-3 guy defending inside or outside the lane. His outside shot is still his best offensive weapon.

2016 guard Payton Willis of Fayetteville didn't workout in the camp and made an unofficial visit.
