— Arkansas completed the non-conference portion of its 2016 football schedule by agreeing to a game against Alcorn State of the Southwestern Athletic Conference on Oct. 1.

The contract stipulates for the game to be played either on campus in Fayetteville or in Little Rock at the discretion of the University of Arkansas. However, the Razorbacks also have switched the location of their Sept. 3 game against Louisiana Tech from Little Rock to Fayetteville, indicating the Alcorn State game is likely destined for War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

The Razorbacks are slated to play Texas State of the Sun Belt Conference on Sept. 17 in Fayetteville and will travel to TCU for a non-conference game against their former Southwest Conference rival on a date to be determined.

Arkansas’ 2016 SEC schedule will feature home games against Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss from the Western Division and Florida from the Eastern Division. The Razorbacks will face Texas A&M as the visiting team in Arlington, Texas, in addition to SEC road games at Auburn and Mississippi State from the West and Missouri from the East.
