Razorbacks rout Lamar for first home soccer win

Stefani Doyle scored two goals in the Razorbacks' 7-0 victory over Lamar.

— Arkansas blew out Lamar 7-0 Thursday to earn its first home victory of the 2019 soccer season.

Senior Stefani Doyle scored two goals and five different Razorbacks scored. Arkansas also scored on an own goal by the visitors.

The Razorbacks (3-1-1) scored five goals after leading 2-0 at halftime. Doyle scored both first half goals and Parker Goins, Reagan Swindell, Jordan Stack and Madison Louck scored in the second half.

Arkansas out-shot Lamar 28-0, including 13-0 on goal. The Razorbacks had 16 corner kicks against the Cardinals (1-4).

The seven goals were Arkansas' most since scoring 11 in a shutout victory over Mississippi Valley State in 2017.

The Razorbacks will play again Sunday against McNeese State. First kick is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Razorback Field.
