FAYETTEVILLE — Playing without senior guard and leading scorer Chelsea Dungee, No. 11 Arkansas cruised to an 86-52 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Bud Walton Arena on Monday.

The Razorbacks improved to 9-1 this season and picked up their sixth consecutive win to close the nonconference portion of the schedule.

Arkansas women's basketball radio play-by-play broadcaster Phil Elson tweeted prior to tipoff that Dungee is doing fine after banging her knee in Saturday’s road win over Arkansas-Little Rock. In her absence, guard Destiny Slocum led the Razorbacks with a game-high 18 points.

She was 7 of 12 from the floor, including 4 of 7 from 3-point range, and added three assists in the win.

Four other Arkansas players — Marquesha Davis, Makayla Daniels, Erynn Barnum, Taylah Thomas — scored in double figures as well. Davis, a sophomore from Springdale, matched a season and career-high with 15 points.

She added 13 first-half points to go with two blocks, two rebounds and a steal, helping the Razorbacks carry a 45-20 lead into halftime.

Barnum and Daniels each finished with 13 points in the win, and Barnum tallied a double-double with 10 rebounds, three on the offensive end. Thomas pitched in 11 points, nine coming in the first half.

Arkansas shot 46% for the game and knocked down 11 of 31 3-point attempts. It also finished with a 30-1 advantage in fastbreak points and its bench outscored UAPB's 42-9.

The Razorbacks, who led for 39 minutes and 23 seconds, assisted on 18 of their 31 scores.

UAPB was led by Kaila Brown’s 15 points on 5 of 13 shooting, and Khadijah Brown recorded a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double. She scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds in the second half.

Arkansas held the Golden Lions to 24.6% from the floor and forced 17 turnovers.

The Razorbacks do not play again until Dec. 31 when they travel to Kentucky (7-1) to open SEC play. The Wildcats came in at No. 13 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll.
