FAYETTEVILLE — Three weeks after rising to No. 10 in The Associated Press Top 25, Arkansas’ men’s basketball team is unranked.

The Razorbacks dropped out of the poll on Monday following a second consecutive loss after a 9-0 start to the season. Arkansas fell 88-66 to Oklahoma in Tulsa on Dec. 11 and 89-81 to Hofstra on Saturday in North Little Rock.

Dating back to last season, Arkansas had been included in the previous 11 editions of the poll. The Razorbacks received nine voting points this week, tied with Michigan for sixth most among unranked teams.

Arkansas (9-2) returns to Bud Walton Arena on Tuesday against Elon, which is 3-9 overall and coming off an 87-56 loss at No. 2 Duke on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on SEC Network.

Two of the Phoenix’s three victories this season are over non-Division I programs. They have other Power 5 losses to Florida (74-61), West Virginia (87-68), Ole Miss (74-56) and North Carolina (80-63).

Elon is led in scoring by 6-2 guard Hunter McIntosh, who averages 11.3 points per game. Three other Phoenix players average at least 10 points per game, including former Missouri guard Torrence Watson.

Watson has scored 23 points in seven career games against the Razorbacks.

SEC teams in this week’s poll are Alabama (10), Auburn (12), LSU (17), Tennessee (19) and Kentucky (20). Oklahoma received 65 voting points, the most of any unranked team, and West Virginia, which travels to Arkansas on Jan. 29 for the Big 12/SEC Challenge, was second with 57.
