Makayla Daniels 'good to go' against Tennessee

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas guard Makayla Daniels has been cleared to play Thursday at Tennessee.

"She's good to go," Razorbacks coach Mike Neighbors said Wednesday. "She could have come back in the other night. If you go back and watch the video, her shoulder popped out a little bit."

The injury is not a new one for Daniels, who dealt with similar injuries in high school.

"It didn't scare her as bad as it scared me," Neighbors added. "She'll be full-go today."

The sophomore from Frederick, Md., has started every game since arriving on campus and is the team's third-leading scorer this season at 13.7 points per game.

The No. 13 Razorbacks are scheduled to play the Volunteers on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The game will air on SEC Network.

Arkansas has beaten Tennessee only twice in Knoxville, but the last time the Razorbacks visited Thompson-Boling Arena they came away with an 80-79 victory in 2019.
