FAYETTEVILLE — Around 850 additional tickets will be sold for Arkansas home baseball games during the month of April.

The April capacity will be approximately 6,585 for games at Baum-Walker Stadium. That figure is around 57% of the ballpark’s listed maximum capacity of 11,531.

The new tickets will be offered in a combination of areas, including chair-back seats, bleacher seats and the Hog Pen beyond the left-field wall.

Arkansas has 12 home games scheduled in April — vs. Auburn on April 1-3; Arkansas-Little Rock on April 6-7; Arkansas-Pine Bluff on April 13-14; Texas A&M on April 16-18; Grambling State on April 20; and Missouri State on April 27.

Another potential increase in capacity will be assessed prior to the Razorbacks' seven scheduled home games in May.

Arkansas has adjusted the capacity for its home baseball games twice this month. Attendance was limited to around 4,218 for the first seven games of the season, but increased to around 5,735 for the final seven games in March, including the upcoming game against Central Arkansas on Tuesday.

The No. 2 Razorbacks are 11-2 at home this season.

The additional tickets for April games will be offered to Razorback Foundation members and season-ticket holders Monday beginning at 9 a.m. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public Tuesday at 9 a.m.
