Arkansas adds PWO long snapper Magee

Arkansas added a second 5-star long snapper to its 2022 recruiting haul with the addition of preferred walk-on Briggs Magee (6-2, 220) of Georgetown, Texas.

Magee announced his pledge Tuesday night on Twitter and joins scholarship long snapper and U.S. Army All-American Eli Stein (6-3, 215) of Cambridge, Wisc., in the class.

“First and foremost I would like to thank God for blessing me along this journey,” Magee tweeted. "Next I would like to thank my parents and siblings for always believing in me and supporting me.

“Finally I would like to thank Chad and Jamie Hennessy, as well as Charles Forrest and GTX Sports Recovery for helping me grow and stay healthy as a player.

“Recruitment has been quite the process, but I have decided to verbally commit and continue my athletic career at the University of Arkansas. Woo Pig!!"

Magee is ranked as the top long snapper in Texas and No. 17 nationally by Rubio Long Snapping. Stein is rated as the third-best nationally by Rubio and fourth by Kohl’s Kicking.
