FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas reached its second-highest ranking ever in the United Soccer Coaches poll on Tuesday.

The Razorbacks are ranked fourth, up two spots from a week ago. It is the program's highest ranking in the poll since a No. 3 ranking last October.

Arkansas (12-2, 7-0 SEC) has a 12-game winning streak entering its matchup at No. 19 Auburn on Thursday. It will be the first top-25 matchup for the Razorbacks since they lost a pair of games at Duke and North Carolina to open the season.

Those teams are ranked sixth and seventh, respectively, this week.

Coaches dropped Arkansas out of the poll following those season-opening losses. The Razorbacks, who were 13th in the preseason poll, remained unranked for half their winning streak until they rejoined the rankings four weeks ago. They have climbed at least one spot in every poll since.

Arkansas and Auburn are among four SEC teams ranked this week, along with Tennessee (10) and Ole Miss (13). The Razorbacks have already defeated the Lady Vols and Rebels this season, as well as BYU, which is ranked No. 12.
