FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas’ 16-game SEC women’s basketball schedule will begin with a Dec. 29 home game against LSU.
The league announced its full schedule of conference games Wednesday. Among the most notable dates for the Razorbacks are road games at Kentucky on New Year’s Day, at LSU on Jan. 19 and at reigning national champion South Carolina on Jan. 22, and home games against Florida on Jan. 5, Ole Miss on Jan. 29 and Tennessee on Feb. 16.
In addition to LSU, Arkansas will play home and away games against Missouri and Vanderbilt. The Razorbacks will also play road games at Auburn, Georgia and Mississippi State, and home games against Alabama and Texas A&M.
Start times and TV designations have yet to be announced for the upcoming season.
Arkansas previously announced its 15-game non-conference schedule, which will include seven home games and eight games on the road or at neutral sites in the U.S. Virgin Islands and San Diego.
The Razorbacks are scheduled to open the season with a Nov. 7 game at Arkansas-Pine Bluff and will play 12 regular-season games against 11 teams that made the 2022 NCAA Tournament — South Carolina, Kentucky, Florida, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Kansas State, Creighton, Oregon and either Ohio State or South Florida.
Arkansas' season also ended in the NCAA Tournament with a 92-69 loss to Utah in the first round. Sixth-year coach Mike Neighbors returns three primary starters — guards Jersey Wolfenbarger, Makayla Daniels and 2022 SEC freshman of the year Samara Spencer — from last year's team that finished with an 18-14 record.
