FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas' scheduled soccer home opener against DePaul on Sunday has been canceled.

According to a Razorbacks press release, the game was called off due to covid-19 issues within DePaul's program. The teams will attempt to reschedule the game in a future season, an Arkansas team spokesman said.

The eighth-ranked Razorbacks (0-1) are scheduled to play next at Oklahoma on Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. Arkansas lost its season opener at Saint Louis by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

With the DePaul cancelation, the Razorbacks are not scheduled to play at Razorback Field until an Aug. 28 game against Arkansas State.
