Arkansas’ trend of attracting high interest from top basketball prospects continues with ESPN 5-star Isaiah Elohim saying the Hogs are one of the schools recruiting him the hardest.

Elohim, 6-4 and 185 pounds, of Northridge (Calif.) Sierra Canyon High School is also the No. 2 overall prospect in the nation and the No. 2 small forward for the 2024 class. He has offers from Kentucky, Kansas, Louisville, Texas, Oregon, UCLA, Southern Cal, Washington and others.

Elohim was reported by 24/7 High School Hoops to have said Arkansas, Baylor, UCLA, Kentucky, Gonzaga, Kansas and Texas are reaching out to him the most.

He was one of the standouts at the Pangos All-American Camp in June by averaging 13 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists. He shot 56.1% from the field.

The Razorbacks are showing strong interest and Elohim is a prime candidate to receive an offer from Coach Eric Musselman. He likes that Musselman and his staff have a combined 52 years of NBA experience.

"The coaching staff is what really intrigued me," he said. "They have a lot of NBA pedigree and they believe in me and feel like I can come there, help them win a national championship and go to the NBA. Their playing style fits me and they’ve kept in contact with me consistently."

He averaged 19.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists, and shot 56% from the field as a freshman at Northridge Heritage Christian.

He played his sophomore season at Sierra Canyon while sharing the floor with other top prospects Bronny James, Amari Bailey and Kijani Wright.
