FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas guard Chris Lykes should be available for the team’s home game against Missouri on Wednesday, Razorbacks coach Eric Musselman said Monday.

A 5-7 transfer guard from Miami, Lykes appeared to injure his groin as he attempted to corral a loose ball with 2:15 remaining in the second half of Arkansas’ 86-81 loss at Texas A&M on Saturday. After lying on the floor for an extended time, he was helped to the bench by head athletic trainer Matt Townsend.

Lykes did not return to the game. He finished with 1 point, 2 assists and 1 turnover in 10 minutes off the bench.

“He’s been doing rehab,” Musselman said. “He should be fine. I’ll hold him out of practice (Monday), but he should be fine for Wednesday.”

Lykes’ 11.3 points per game is second on the team this season. He is shooting 37% from the floor and 30.8% from three-point range.

Arkansas is set to host Missouri at 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will air on SEC Network.
