Defensive lineman Tyler Gant has visited Arkansas twice and is hoping to make it back for a third visit this summer if his schedule allows. 

Gant, 6-3, 272 pounds, of St. Louis Christian Brothers, has scholarship offers from the Razorbacks, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Colorado, Nebraska, West Virginia, Kansas State and other schools.

He, along with his father Brian and grandfather Michael, visited Fayetteville last summer. Gant also visited for the Texas game on Sept. 11.

His grandfather is from Augusta, Ark., while Gant’s mother’s side of the family is also from Arkansas. 

Nickname: Big Gant 

Favorite thing about playing on the D-line: Attacking and getting to the QB 

Coach Deke Adams is: Knowledgable about the game 

Funniest football moment: Tipping the ball and intercepting it in the state championship then getting tripped at the 5-yard line on the return.

If I couldn't play football, I would want to star in: The NBA

I'm happiest when I: Am with family and friends
