FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas’ men’s basketball team is ranked outside the top 10 of The Associated Press Top 25 poll for the first time in five weeks.

The Razorbacks, who lost their lone game last week at LSU in both teams’ Southeastern Conference opener, came in at No. 13 in the latest poll that was released Monday. Arkansas (11-2, 0-1 SEC) was No. 9 last week.

After having their seven-game winning streak snapped, the Razorbacks return to Bud Walton Arena on Wednesday against Missouri. The Tigers debuted in the poll at No. 20 this week.

Missouri is 12-1 overall and 1-0 in SEC play under first-year coach Dennis Gates. The Tigers defeated Kentucky 89-75 at home on Dec. 28 and have won three consecutive games since a 28-point home loss to rival Kansas.

Other teams of note in this week’s poll are Texas (6), Alabama (7), Tennessee (8), Baylor (19) and Auburn (22). LSU, San Diego State, Mississippi State and Kentucky were the top vote-getting teams outside the top 25.
