Kramer tabbed SEC softball player of the week

Arkansas right fielder Raigan Kramer (1) throws a ball to second base, Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, during the second inning of the Razorbacks’ 4-2 win over Louisiana Tech at Bogle Field in Fayetteville.

Following a strong showing in the Wooo Pig Classic, Arkansas sophomore outfielder Raigan Kramer was named the SEC softball player of the week, the league office announced Monday.

The award came after a spectacular performance in an event in which the Razorbacks went 6-0. Kramer had a batting average of .667 with 8 hits and 11 RBI.

The Topeka, Kan., native had two doubles and three home runs over the course of the weekend. It is her first SEC weekly honor.

Kramer is the first Razorback to earn player of the week this season and the first since Hannah McEwen last May.
