Arkansas’ football team returned to practice Tuesday following spring break. The Razorbacks worked out on the outdoor fields under a clear sky.

Here are some notes and observations from the roughly 45-minute viewing window:

• Dorian Gerald, Matt Landers and Jadon Haselwood took in practice. Arkansas’ Pro Day is Wednesday in Walker Pavilion and each player is scheduled to participate.

• Running back Rashod Dubinion wore a green no-contact jersey during the practice. Defensive backs Quincey McAdoo and LaDarrius Bishop were present and active, but Bishop did not take part in team work. Wide receiver Tyrone Broden and linebacker Brad Spence were not in uniform.

Pittman said Tuesday evening that the coaching staff will keep working Bishop in as spring moves along, and Broden has a knee sprain. He could return by Thursday or for the team's Saturday scrimmage.

• I saw offensive lineman Luke Brown, running back Dominique Johnson, receiver Jaedon Wilson and defensive back Al Walcott off to the side working on lower-body strength with team personnel. They were bending their knees then throwing a weighted ball into the air when I watched them.

• During a special teams period, Isaiah Sategna and Jaylon Braxton were working at punt return.

• There was a portion of practice in which a quarterback threw to receivers, who were being covered by a defensive back who had over-the-top help. Here are some highlights from that session:

KJ Jefferson completed a pass to Sategna; RJ Johnson broke up a pass; Malachi Singleton completed passes to Reid Touchstone and Marlon Crockett early on. Crockett made a great catch on a contested ball in the end zone; Jefferson completed a pass to Isaac TeSlaa, who made a nice hands grab over the middle; Kalil Girault caught a touchdown pass from Singleton; TJ Metcalf broke up a pass by Jacolby Criswell, and Metcalf later broke up a pass near the end zone; Sategna, I believe, brought in each pass thrown to him that was catchable.
