Razorbacks still atop baseball poll

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas retained its No. 1 ranking in the USA Today Baseball Coaches Poll on Monday.

The Razorbacks (27-3, 11-1 SEC) received all 31 first-place votes after a 4-0 week that included a 13-0 victory over Arkansas State and a sweep of Ole Miss by scores of 5-3, 8-3 and 7-4. 

Arkansas is No. 1 in all of the major polls for the fifth consecutive week. The Razorbacks have won eight consecutive games. 

Led by Arkansas, the SEC has eight ranked SEC teams. Also ranked is Texas A&M (3), Tennessee (4), Vanderbilt (6), Kentucky (8), Alabama (17), Florida (18) and Mississippi State (23).

LSU, South Carolina and Georgia fell out of the poll. 

The ACC has seven ranked teams led by second-ranked Clemson. 

Arkansas is in the coaches poll for the 101st consecutive week, dating to 2017. The Razorbacks have been ranked in the top 10 in 53 of 55 polls.
