The University of Arkansas qualified for match play at the SEC women’s golf championships on Sunday after shooting a 3-over 283 to finish three rounds of stroke play in sixth place, 17 over at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla.

The Razorbacks will be matched up at 7:50 a.m. Central on Monday on No. 10 against defending SEC champion Texas A&M, which finished stroke play in third place at 3-over par.

No. 2 South Carolina fired an even-par 280 on the par 70, 6,150-yard course to grab the No. 1 seed at 3 under, the only team under par. The Gamecocks will be paired against eight seed LSU (+21) this morning.

No. 10 Auburn wound up in second at even par and will face seven seed Georgia (+20). The other pairing is fourth seed Mississippi State (+8) against fifth seed Kentucky (+13).

The match play quarterfinals and semifinals will be played Monday and the championship match is scheduled for Tuesday.

The Razorbacks had no top 10 finishers behind medalist Julia Lopez Ramirez (-10) of Mississippi State, but senior Kajal Mistry and junior Kendall Todd tied for 11th place with five other golfers. Mistry finished with a 69 and Todd fired a 73 on Sunday to wind up at 2 over for the championship.

Arkansas freshman Maria Jose Marin birdied the 18th to finish at even par for the day and 7 over, tied for 30th. Senior Miriam Ayora had the final counting score for the Razorbacks with a 71 on the day and she finished at 11 over and tied for 47th.

Sophomore Reagan Zibilski had a non-counting 78 on Sunday and finished at 14 over, tied for 57th.

The Razorbacks will line up with Ayora, Todd, Marin, Mistry and Zibilski, in that order against the Aggies.
