WHAT TO KNOW

• In the teams’ first meeting, Arkansas guard Saylor Poffenbarger made 8 three-pointers, which was one shy of tying the program’s single-game record. Poffenbarger is fourth in the nation with 11.9 rebounds per game.

• Missouri star forward Hayley Frank has missed the Tigers’ last three games, but Coach Robin Pingeton said she was “really close” to returning for their last game, a 70-59 loss last Sunday to Auburn.

• The Tigers have skidded with six losses in a row. They are looking to climb out of the SEC basement, where they are tied with Georgia and Kentucky for last place, to avoid an SEC Tournament first-round game. The bottom four teams in the standings play in the first round.

• Arkansas appears to be on the outside looking in for an NCAA Tournament at-large spot. ESPN listed the Razorbacks as the fifth team left out of the field in its most recent projection.

• After playing Missouri, the Razorbacks’ remaining schedule is comprised of a game at Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, South Carolina and at Ole Miss. A loss to the Tigers would be a devastating blow to Arkansas’ hopes to make the Big Dance.

• Arkansas is No. 64 in the NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET) ranking. Missouri is No. 74.

• Arkansas freshman guard Taliah Scott ranks 11th in the nation and leads the SEC scoring 22.1 points per game. She missed the teams’ first meeting with a back injury that kept her out for six games.

• Missouri guard Mama Dembele is fourth in the nation in assists per game (6.8) and 10th in steals per game (3.2). Dembele recorded a triple-double in the Tigers’ loss to Auburn with a 15-point, 11-rebound, 11-assist performance.

• Arkansas and Missouri have met in the past two SEC Tournaments. In 2022 the Razorbacks won 61-52 in overtime, and they won 85-74 in 2023.

• Arkansas fifth-year guard Makayla Daniels is 11-0 against Missouri during her career. It is the most wins by a Razorback athlete — regardless of gender or sport — over the same team without a loss.
