WHAT TO KNOW

• In the latest “Bracketology” by ESPN, Texas A&M is projected as one of the last four teams in the NCAA Tournament field and Arkansas is listed as one of the first four left out. The Athletic has Texas A&M as one of its last four byes and Arkansas in the next four out category of its latest “Bracket Watch.”

• Arkansas, which defeated Missouri 75-68 last Sunday to snap a two-game losing streak, has won consecutive SEC games once this season. Texas A&M has lost back-to-back games against Vanderbilt (49-45) and LSU (81-58) but has yet to lose three in a row this season.

• Texas A&M guard Endyia Rogers, a graduate transfer from Oregon who leads the Aggies with 12.8 points and 4 assists per game, has missed the team’s last two games with a knee injury. Aggies coach Joni Taylor said Monday following Texas A&M’s 81-58 loss to LSU that Rogers is “going to be out for some time.”

• The Aggies are third in the SEC with a 10.48 rebounding margin and the Razorbacks are 13th with a -3.26 margin. Arkansas is 1-6 in conference play when it has been out-rebounded.

• Texas A&M ranks second in the SEC holding opponents to 36.1% shooting, and Arkansas is last in the league with a 38.4% field goal percentage.

• Taylor is an assistant coach for the USA women’s basketball national team, which will be competing at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Taylor coached at Georgia for seven seasons before departing for Texas A&M ahead of the 2022-23 season.

• Arkansas is No. 64 in the NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET) ranking. Texas A&M is No. 36.

• Arkansas freshman guard Taliah Scott missed Sunday’s game against Missouri due to a “serious family emergency,” which made her return home to Orange Park, Fla. Coach Mike Neighbors said Tuesday Scott's situation is "day-to-day." Scott ranks 10th in the nation and leads the SEC in scoring with 22.1 points per game.

• Two of the SEC’s best shot blockers will be featured in this matchup. Arkansas sophomore forward Maryam Dauda ranks third in the league with 2.41 blocks per game, and Texas A&M junior Lauren Ware is fourth with 1.92 per game.

• Arkansas redshirt-sophomore guard Saylor Poffenbarger ranks second in the SEC and third in the nation with 11.9 rebounds per game. Her 9.8 defensive boards per game are second-most in Division I.

• Ware, a 6-5 transfer from Arizona, is sixth in the SEC with 3.32 offensive rebounds per game. Sophomore forward Janiah Barker is 10th in the league with 2.74 offensive rebounds per game.

• In conference-only games, Texas A&M guard Aicha Coulibaly, a transfer from Auburn, ranks fourth in the SEC with a 49.3% field goal percentage.
