Arkansas softball run-rules UT-Arlington to cap successful weekend tournament

Reis Beuerlein pitched a two-hitter as Arkansas softball ended the Razorback Invitational with its second straight run-rule in a 10-0 win against UT-Arlington on Sunday at Bogle Park.

Beuerlein struck out 3, walked 1 and tossed just 59 pitches in the five-inning shutout win.

No. 14 Arkansas (13-3) scored 8 runs in the third inning to break a scoreless tie. Nia Carter had an RBI ground out, Rylin Hedgecock and Kennedy Miller each had an RBI single. Lauren Camenzind and Hannah Gammill added RBI doubles, and Raigan Kramer hit an RBI triple in the frame.

Miller, Kramer and Reagan Johnson had multiple hits for the Razorbacks.

Texas transfer Carlee Ratcliff got her first home run as a Razorback with a two-run bomb in the fourth.

Arkansas returns to play Thursday when it hosts the Wooo Pig Classic. The Razorbacks will face South Dakota State, Southeast Missouri State and Florida Atlantic during the tournament.
