FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has reached agreements for home women’s basketball games against Texas Tech and Central Arkansas in 2024-25.

The Razorbacks are scheduled to host the Red Raiders on Dec. 15 and the Sugar Bears on Dec. 29. Game times have not been determined for either game.

The two game contracts were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

Arkansas and Texas Tech last played March 24, 2023, at Bud Walton Arena in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament. The Razorbacks won that game 71-66 and improved their series record to 19-9. The teams have not played a regular-season game since 2016.

The Razorbacks will make a return trip to Texas Tech in 2025-26 as part of a home-and-home series, according to the contract.

The game against UCA will likely be the Razorbacks’ final nonconference game before SEC play.

Arkansas and UCA have played each year since the 2020-21 season. The Razorbacks have a 5-0 record in the series, most recently winning 81-67 on Nov. 20.

The Sugar Bears, which are in their first season under coach Tony Kemper, finished third in the ASUN with a 20-10 (11-5) record.

Texas Tech and UCA join Fairfield, Texas A&M-Commerce, Oral Roberts and UCLA among teams that have agreed to play Arkansas in 2024-25.
